Council Rejects Plans For Seven-Home Development

14th Dec 2018

Proposals to build a seven-unit residential development on a narrow strip of land between the existing Tent1a and proposed Tent1b housing estates was rejected last night (Monday, 10 December) by Tenterden Town Council's planning committee.

The plan, which would involve knocking down an existing house - The Pines - and replacing it with the seven units was rejected on the grounds of over-intensification, potential flooding, lack of emergency access and access to the site, to name but a few.
