New Moves to Keep Crime Low in Tenterden
22nd Jan 2019
The latest report from the town's recently-established Police Forum was reviewed by Tenterden Town Council on Monday, 14 January.
The report identified ways of ensuring that Tenterden remains a low-crime, safe neighbourhood, including improved CCTV cameras, scheduled for installation by the end of March and incorporating improved number plate and facial recognition technology.
The council also agreed to investigate the cost of electric bikes for the town's PCSOs, enabling them to ride into areas inaccessible to cars.
