With indoor hospitality set to reopen on Monday (17th May) and with more than two-thirds of adults in the UK having already received their first dose of a Covid vaccine, the Town Council has decided to remove the remaining social distancing barriers in the High Street on Monday. Residents and visitors are still advised to observe social distancing where possible and businesses are asked to ensure they adhere to the rulings on pavement widths with regard to outside seating. The Town Council appreciates everyone’s patience with the barriers; although they may have been a bit of an eyesore they served a great purpose during the pandemic.

Barriers Banished!
