Today, next to St Mildred’s Church, Past Mayor of Tenterden Cllr. Sue Ferguson proudly presented cheques to her two chosen charities – Tenterden Big Wrap and Tenterden Wildlife.
During her second Mayoral term (2024–25), Sue raised £1,775.94 for each charity, bringing her total over two years as Mayor of Tenterden to an incredible £2,314.89 per charity, a total of £4,629.78 overall.
Tenterden Town Council would like to thank everyone who contributed, with special thanks to Jean Curteis & Sandra Sutters from St Michaels Community Group for their generous £2,000 donation from Tributes in the Park.
These funds will help support the vital work of two Tenterden based charities; The Big Wrap helping families in need, and Tenterden Wildlife protecting and enhancing the Town’s natural environment.
