The Town Council is committed to delivering enhancements to this much-loved and used park. Landscape architects Mark Hanton Studio, and Logic PM Project Managers are helping us to deliver improvements in phases to avoid lengthy disruption and closure and to allow us to move forward with planned changes.
These include an exciting new and improved children’s play area to be delivered early on and prioritising the planned youth facilities. The football pitch will remain in its current location for the foreseeable future with improvements delivered when alternative provision is available for use by the town's thriving football teams.
