On Sunday, 16th July 2023, the Town Mayor welcomed members of the Town Council, current and past; the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Mrs. Ashton; visiting Mayors; dignitaries; guests; local organisations; and youth groups to the Annual Civic Service in St. Mildred's Church. The focus of the Service was on Creative Love and representatives from the Mayor's chosen charities, The Big Wrap and Tenterden Wildlife, made speeches.
