We regret to inform you that the upcoming Town Council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, 13th June, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. This meeting was supposed to review the Tenterden Neighbourhood Plan Reg 15 submission, but we have encountered a necessary delay.
Upon seeking advice from our Planning Consultant, it has become apparent that the current submission requires further review and sign-off. To ensure legal protection for the Town Council, it is crucial that the Planning Consultant thoroughly examines and approves the final document before our approval can take place. Unfortunately, this review cannot be completed before the previously scheduled meeting on 13th June.
We understand that this news may be frustrating for many of you, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. However, it is imperative that we follow the necessary procedures to ensure the integrity and legality of the Neighbourhood Plan.
We have arranged for the Town Council meeting to be rescheduled towards the end of July, once the Planning Consultant has completed their full review and sign-off, which is expected to take place at the end of June or the beginning of July. We will provide you with an updated meeting date as soon as it is confirmed.
