Tenterden Town Council is looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Worker to join its small team of outdoor staff, maintaining and caring for green spaces and buildings under council control and responsibility. The role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors and who is able and willing to turn their hand to the many and varied tasks that the role requires. A good knowledge and understanding of grounds and building maintenance tasks and the equipment and machinery used is desirable. Knowledge and experience of gardening would be beneficial, as the Team cares for several gardens in the town.
While the role is available on a permanent basis, the council wishes to take on temporary support, during the recruitment process. Details of the permament role will be published shortly.
